OUR CREW

    Michele Young

    DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Raised near Pittsburgh, PA, and thriving in Seattle since the early '90s, this Penn State science student (twice and counting) and Cornell-educated project manager has a resume as chaotic as a midnight shift.

She has worked in retail, been a fashion buyer, worked in landscaping and a haunted recording studio, done darkroom printing, and bartended in biker bars, live music venues, and dive joints—including 30 years with The 5 Point Cafe and Mecca Cafe woven throughout her history.
She spends her free time loving her sons, taking her best dog friend on walks through the mountains, camping, fishing, and growing things. A "tequila-is-a-vegetable" kind of gal, she enjoys cooking, meat, cheese, creating cocktails, gardening, music, and reading.

She believes everyone deserves kindness, respect, and a cold beer—until proven otherwise—and takes great pride in delivering a fast, stiff drink and great food, welcoming everyone in, and making sure they have a great time.
Her leadership goal as our Director of Operations is to cultivate a style that blends firm accountability with deep compassion, fostering hospitality in a high-performing yet supportive culture, and showing genuine care for individuals to build trust, resilience, and engagement on our path to success.
